At Workforce & Business Development, investing in professional development strengthens organizations and helps employees work more efficiently. Recently, the business team partnered with Area Agency on Aging District 7 (AAA7) to provide Microsoft Excel training designed to enhance the technical skills of their staff.

A total of 54 AAA7 staff members completed the Workforce & Business Development’s Microsoft Excel training series, which included two Level 1 courses and one Level 2 course. Participants gained practical, hands-on experience with essential Excel skills, including creating and formatting spreadsheets, building formulas and functions, managing workbooks, sorting and filtering data, creating charts, and analyzing information using PivotTables and slicers.

The advanced training also introduced staff to powerful tools such as named ranges, logical and text functions, advanced conditional formatting, custom lists, and Excel customization features that help streamline daily tasks and improve productivity.

Following the training, the AAA7 training organizer shared overwhelmingly positive feedback from participants. Staff members reported taking away valuable skills they could immediately apply in their dayto-day responsibilities, and the organizer expressed confidence that the training has improved their efficiency and enhanced their ability to manage data more effectively.

This partnership demonstrates the impact that targeted workforce training can have on organizations throughout the region. By equipping employees with practical, job-ready technology skills. Workforce & Business Development helps businesses and organizations increase productivity, improve confidence, and invest in the continued success of their workforce.

Whether you’re looking to strengthen your team’s digital skills or customize training to meet your organization's needs, Workforce & Business Development is here to help your employees succeed.
