SUMMER FOOD SERVICE PROGRAM

The Summer Food Service Program provides nutritious, child-friendly meals to youths 18 years of age and under or persons over 18 who are determined by a state or local public educational agency to be mentally or physically disabled. Meals are free and there is no registration or eligibility forms required. Funded by the United States Department of Agriculture, the program is sponsored by Community Action Committee of Pike County (CAC). The CAC Summer Food program operates from mid-June through mid-August. The meal sites include: Garnet A. Wilson Public Library, Piketon Branch Public Library, Eastern Branch Public Library, Western Branch Public Library, YMCA, and the Stockdale Community Center at the times below.
