The Summer Food Service Program provides nutritious, child-friendly meals to youths under 18 at various sites around the county. Public school summer program runs during vacation. 2001 open sites include: Walnut Street Park; Garnet A. Wilson Library; Eastern Library; and Piketon Library. Meals are free and there is no registration or eligibility forms required. Funded by the United States Department of Agriculture and Pike County United Fund and Bechtel Jacobs.
