Head Start Transportation

Our Head Start and Early Childhood Education programs provide transportation for most enrolled children. Children are transported on buses that are equipped with lap belts and/or other means of safety seats appropriate for the size and weight of the child. Bus drivers hold a current, valid Commercial Driver’s License and are involved in on-going safety education that relates to the transportation of preschool age children. All necessary safety equipment is installed on all Head Start buses, which includes first aid kits and fire extinguishers.

We do not provide transportation for Early Head Start or the Full day / Full Year Enhanced Head Start services.
