Social Services / Parent Involvement

An important goal of the social service program is to help the families in their effort to improve the quality of life for all members of the family. Staff help each family complete an assessment where the family needs and strengths are identified. The staff then helps the family find local agencies that can provide assistance and support for parents in reaching their goals.

Our Early Childhood Program provides many opportunities for parents of the children enrolled to become active volunteers. Our program believes that it is very important for parents to feel involved in the child’s education. Parents can participate in the program by volunteering in the centers, on the buses, helping in the office, being an active member of their parent committee and serving on the Policy Advisory Council.
