Home-Based Head Start Programs

The Head Start home-based program serves children three to five years old who may not be ready to attend a classroom setting or whose parents choose the home-based option. This option consists of weekly home visits from a qualified teacher for 1.5 hours a week and two center socialization experiences per month. Transportation may be provided for children to attend socialization at the center.

The Early Head Start Prenatal
Home-Based Head Program

Home visiting staff will partner with you and your family to provide support during your pregnancy. E.H.S. can help you find resources to help you during your pregnancy and afterwards. Our goal is to provide prenatal and parenting education information during your pregnancy and to provide you with information that meets your interest and needs.

Early Head Start Infant/Toddler
Home-Based Head Program

Each family will have a 1.5 hour home visit per week in which our staff will bring activities, encouragement and education in order to support you in the promotion of the healthy growth of your child. A parent and child group meets twice per month to participate in activities that will stimulate your child’s growth and development.
