Small Business Lending Program
The Business Development Department manages several Revolving Loan Funds (RLF’s), each uniquely designed to assist area small business owners in their effort to start-up or expand an existing small business. These RLF’s offer financing ranging from $200 to $250,000. The Business Development Department can be the sole lender of requests up to $50,000. Loans in excess of that amount require the participation of some other form of financing.
Individuals interested in accessing the RLF’s must submit a written business plan including cash flow projections, as well as pertinent personal financial information. Business Development Staff are available to assist individuals in their efforts to compile this data.
Eligible Uses: Real estate, machinery, equipment, inventory, insurance, advertising, promotional materials, furniture and fixtures, supplies, leasehold improvements, utilities, and working capital.
Ineligible Uses: Revolving lines of credit, investment institutions, land speculations, gambling and illegal activities.
